WELCOME TO THE TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR THE FRIENDS OF STEPHANIE WEBSITE

The Friends of Stephanie website and specifically the donation page is a process, which allows you to donate to the Friends of Stephanie campaign in accordance with the Connecticut campaign finance laws. Please read and consider these terms and conditions carefully. You will need to agree to all these terms and conditions to use the Friends of Stephanie ("THE WEBSITE") to make donations.

The Website is owned and operated by the Friends of Stephanie. The term "We" or "us" refer to the Friends of Stephanie entity who is the owner of the Website. We do not collect or charge any service fees to you or any other parties.

These terms and conditions may be modified at any time and such modification shall be effective immediately upon Web posting of the modified terms and conditions. Your continued use of "THE WEBSITE" shall be deemed your conclusive acceptance of the modified terms and conditions.

You acknowledge that by clicking on the "I accept" buttons, you are agreeing to be legally bound by these terms and conditions and you are immediately entering into a binding and enforceable contract with us, which contains no terms other than these terms and conditions.

RETURN AND CANCELLATION POLICY

The Friends of Stephanie does not sell goods or services. Since this is a donation, no refunds or cancellations will be granted. However, if this transaction was processed erroneously, please contact us (203) 377-2119 or donations@friendsofstephanie.com and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

On Line Donations - We use the following e-commerce practices to insure the security of your personal financial information:

• When processing your credit card payment, we will ask for the card type, account number, expiration date and your card's billing address.
• All credit card information will be transmitted to us in encrypted format using industry standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption.
• When a credit card transaction is completed, we will not maintain your credit card number on our web servers.
• We will keep this information in confidence and will make every effort to maintain the privacy and security of information at all times.

PRIVACY POLICY

Personal Information
If you choose to make a donation, you will be asked to provide contact information (such as your name and shipping address) and financial information (such as your credit card number and expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to process your donation, and to meet the requirements of the Connecticut campaign finance laws applicable to municipal campaigns that are set forth in Chapter 155 of the General Statutes, Sections 9-600 through 9-625. Friends of Stephanie handle all of this data with the utmost confidentiality.

Third Parties
Your name, address, and donation amount will be disclosed per the Connecticut campaign finance laws applicable to municipal campaigns. From time to time, we may engage third parties to process your information on our behalf; however, none of Friends of Stephanie affiliates (such as our credit card company) have permission to retain, share, store or use personal information for any reason other than providing the requested service.

Changes to our Privacy Policy
As we review our site and policies, we may identify opportunities to use information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy policy notice. If our information practices change, we will post the change to our web site.

Security
To prevent unauthorized access, disclosure and improper use of your information, we have established appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial safeguards to protect the information we collect in accordance with our privacy policy.

We hope to link with only reputable sources. However, since these organizations, associations, agencies, and information sites are independent outside sources, Friends of Stephanie is not responsible for content or services. Please use your discretion when dealing with any external sources.
